Christine LaChow is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in NYC and is obtaining her Master’s Degree in Fine Art Education at Kean University. A working artist/illustrator in the New York/New Jersey area, Christine has had many exhibits and won numerous awards, some of which include: Papp Gallery, The Art Director’s Club, The Society of Illustrators, The SVA Museum, and The Artist Magazine 2001 Finalist – Landscape category. Her work has also been chosen for the past four consecutive years to be displayed in the prestigious Monmouth Festival of the Arts. Currently she is illustrating a children’s book due to come out in early 2008 with author Lin Fong O’Neill, and is working on commissioned portraits and paintings mixed with photography. She currently lives in Aberdeen with her husband and daughter, Jacqueline.
